Title: Method of case studies: practice in teaching environmental students

Abstract: The necessity of using active methods of students learning technologies, in particular the method of the cases, is discussed. The experience of using case studies in teaching students-ecologists is described. An example of the case and its decision on the discipline of ‘Hazardous properties of waste and sewage sludge’ is given.
