Abstract: Possibilities of applying new educational technologies and pedagogical measurements to modernize Russian education are discussed. Key issues of modernization, objectives, forms and methods, new education philosophies and educational technologies are considered. Test assignments, tests, adaptive learning and adaptive test control, quantified learning texts with test assignments can be used as forms and methods of modernization. Other forms are supertest, monitoring, rating, technological systems of student and school student independent work management as well as knowledge correction of students and school students.
