Abstract: The article considers the spiritual and moral education of children, adolescents and young people as the basis of civil harmony and unity of Russian society. Currently, in the spiritual life of Russian society there is a significant rethinking of values and ideals, carried out ideological reorientation of personal and social consciousness. Russian culture has always been closely connected with Orthodox culture and its historical connection can be traced at all stages of the development of Orthodoxy. Particular attention is paid to the coverage of educational, cultural and educational activities based on the traditions and culture of Orthodoxy.
