Title: THE ORGANIZATIONAL AND PEDAGOGICAL CONDITIONS OF DIGITAL CULTURE FORMATION AMONG UNIVERSITY STUDENTS

Abstract: During a country’s transition to a digital economy and education, the level of the digital culture of society and the personal digital culture of its citizens become decisive for the development of the state. Therefore, it is necessary to form the digital competence and digital culture of students studying at the university in various specialties. The article considers the concepts of «digital literacy», «digital competence», «digital culture» and reveals their correlation. The approaches and practices of digital culture development in different higher education institutions of the country are presented. The driving force of digital culture formation of a university student is the principle of its purposeful formation and creation of organizational and pedagogical conditions in the university. Organizational and pedagogical conditions are created on the basis of achievement of planned educational results in each specialty, use of modular technology of training. The information and educational environment of the university should have the following properties: subordination to personal motives and interests; use of various technical means; inclusion of open and local educational resources in training; use of various forms of training based on approach to future professional activity; organization of knowledge control with using ICT. The formed digital culture of the student’s personality activates learning and self-education, promotes creativity and research independence.
